June 2016 Board Meeting

A KCEDA Nominating Committee has been assembled for the June 13th Annual Meeting. This committee’s purpose is to facilitate the nomination process for prospective officers of the Board of Directors, members of the Executive Committee, and upgraded memberships for the upcoming fiscal year. At the annual meeting, the Nominating Committee will present their recommendations for the 4 officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer), as well the remaining members of the Executive Committee; members elected as officers for the Board of Directors will be automatically placed on the Executive Committee. The nominating committee will also present recommendations for upgraded memberships, allowing select representatives from Regular, Silver, and Gold memberships to hold seats as Board of Directors. The nominating committee is currently fielding recommendations for the officer, executive committee, and board upgrade positions.

If you are interested in participating please contact KCEDA staff or KCEDA President, Lauren Jespersen. It is important to note that although the required business of the annual meeting will be conducted at the June 13th meeting (elections and budget approval), there will be a more formal celebration of KCEDA’s new fiscal year held on October 10th; more details for the fall event will be provided within the next two weeks.
